HUG by Personio: An interactive conference and dinner show!
Together with our long-term partner Personio, we once again organised the HUG event this year. Following a successful 2023 edition, we transformed the conference into an entirely new format: a dinner show. This evening for HR professionals offered a complete programme filled with insights, inspiration, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities.
Remember why you started working in HR?
Through the HUG Event, Personio offers HR professionals a platform to exchange knowledge and experiences while building valuable connections within the HR sector. The theme of this edition, “Remember Why You Started Working in HR?”, created a personal and motivating atmosphere, encouraging all guests to reflect on their passion for HR. The informal dinner setting featured multiple talks, a panel discussion, diverse entertainment, and the vibrant Personio Playground.
An interactive conference in dinner format
The evening began on the first floor of Personio’s Amsterdam office. After a plenary opening, guests moved to the top floor, where an office space had been transformed into a stylish dining hall. The room was elegantly decorated with round tables, transparent chairs, black linens, and colourful LED ropes. Guests were seated according to the colour of their table lighting. After the first course, everyone drew a ball from a mysterious grab box and then moved to a table matching that colour. This playful twist encouraged guests to meet new HR colleagues and sparked fresh connections.
An inspiring event program
Between courses, several speakers took the stage, sparking interactivity through open table discussions on HR-related topics. Alternating with a table magician, delicious food by Gooz Catering, and a comedian, the evening offered a well-rounded experience. Afterwards, the Personio Playground opened, where guests could continue networking over drinks while enjoying a variety of games and activities.
An Experience for HR-professionals
The evening was a great success, resulting in many new connections and the perfect balance between content and entertainment. Again, we managed to surprise with our concept & production, transforming the office building into a fully-fledged restaurant.
